We anticipate the roles to be voluntary positions but we will reimburse you for reasonable expenses. We are also very keen to develop skills within our coaching team so we will fund your ongoing coaching development, which benefits both you and the club. Main duties The position reports directly to the Director of Rugby, Tom O'Connor, who is a highly respected RFU L3 coach and RFU Trainer. The Head Coach's responsibilities are: To take overall responsibility for the management and coaching of Senior Men's rugby including travelling with teams on match days. To prepare and deliver all coaching sessions working with established and new assistant coaches as agreed. To attend Senior Playing Committee meetings to report on progress. To lead selection meetings with the Senior Playing Committee. To instil Club values and culture. Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate should have: current or very recent playing experience at Level 8 or higher previous experience of coaching Senior players a desire to improve their coaching delivery and be working towards the next level of coaching qualification the ambition and self-motivation to take the Club forward, to recruit and develop players and develop assistant coaches. Remuneration This is an unsalaried position, expenses will be paid for travel to the club and to matches.
